How personal data submitted through this website is handled.
This website is operated by Motofil Labs, Ílhavo, Portugal.

What we collect
This website does not use cookies and does not use advertising or third-party tracking. We only process the personal data you send us through the contact form: your name, email address, company, and optionally your role, country, the product you came from and the content of your message.
To protect the form against abuse, the server temporarily records a one-way hash of your IP address to limit the number of submissions. This record is deleted automatically after 24 hours.
Visitor statistics
We count visits with our own statistics, without cookies and without third-party services. For each page view we record the page address, the referring website, the language, the device type (mobile or desktop) and the time. Your IP address is not stored: a one-way code that changes every day lets us count unique visitors per day and cannot be linked back to you. Browsers that send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal are not counted. Statistics are kept for a maximum of 25 months.
Why we use it
We use your details only to answer your enquiry and, where you ask for it, to continue the related technical or commercial conversation. If you write to us about joining the team, we use your details only to consider your application. The legal basis is your consent and the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract. Visitor statistics rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and for a maximum of three years after the last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or a business relationship follows. Applications are kept for a maximum of one year unless you agree to a longer period.
Who receives it
Your message is delivered by email to our team. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. Service providers that host this website and our email operate under data processing agreements.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time, by writing to webmaster@motofillabs.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
